HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR JEWELLERY

We take pride in crafting high-quality jewellery designed to endure and withstand your beach adventures. To ensure your jewellery is cared for correctly, please adhere to our care instructions.

What materials our jewellery is made from:

.925 Sterling Silver:
Our jewellery is crafted from the finest hypoallergenic solid sterling silver (925). The '925' hallmark on all our silver pieces signifies a minimum purity of 92.5% silver. Pure silver is inherently soft and malleable, hence we alloy it with 7.5% to enhance durability and maintain the highest quality standards.

14k Gold Vermeil:
Vermeil represents the highest standard of gold plating. We apply a thick layer of 14k gold (2-3 microns) over sterling silver using a durable method called 'Electroplating' or 'E-Coating'. This method ensures longevity, distinguishing it from standard gold plating, which is thinner and lower in quality.

To ensure your jewellery lasts a lifetime, we recommend:

- While our jewellery is water-friendly, remove it before swimming in pools, spas, or saunas to protect it from harsh chemicals.
- Apply lotions and perfumes before wearing your jewellery to prevent potential damage.
- Avoid contact with moisturisers, detergents, soaps, perfumes, makeup, etc., as these can harm the metals.
- After wearing your jewellery in the ocean, rinse it with fresh water and gently pat dry.
- Store your jewellery in a cool, dry place away from sunlight to prevent tarnishing.
